Well, it took a *couple of minutes* (literally) to update Box of Tricks and create / copy to Pros BB2. YAY! (Cause that wasn't the experience a few years back.)

One caveat: as of about noon ET 12 March, anything posted to LJ will not show up on DW unless I do another copy.

(Boothros: I would still like to see the instructions you offered, to make sure that nothing fell through the cracks. Thanks. :-))

Next Steps:

• I will need you guys to join Pros BB2 (https://pros-bb2.dreamwidth.org/) - membership should be open right now. Once you're in, I will make you all administrators and close the access.


• I also have to do some minor housekeeping for Box of Tricks; it looks like some of the sidebar info didn't copy over. But otherwise, it looks pretty good.


• Once the housekeeping is done, we can post a notice to the members that we've made the switch. Let me know if there's anything missing from what I mentioned in the prior post.

As for crossposting: it looks like DW has shut that off for now (I get it; their focus is on importing). So we may have to double-post for a while. *sad trombone*
But I should be the next one up anyway, and can easily monitor that.
Right now I have to go out (into the snow! wah) but will check more into crossposting once I'm back home.
